2008 Tomatina Festival Photos

Thursday saw the annual Tomatina Festival kick off with a vengeance in the town of Bunol, just outside Valencia in Spain!

This famous ‘tomato throwing’ festival has been happening since 1945 when a group of local kids had a massive food fight in the village centre – and obviously had so much fun the town has been commemorating since! These days the world’s biggest food fight attracts upwards of 20,000 visitors to this small village every year!
